I have been to the partner park in Skagway, AK including the ghost town of Dyea, but this was the first visit to the Seattle location in the historic Cadillac Hotel. The site is small with displays dedicated to the 1890s northern gold rush which started on ships from Seattle. All supplies and pack animals were primarily bought here before heading north in hope of making it rich. Few people even made it to the gold fields much less made any significant money.
