Crabs! There were so many fiddler crabs scurrying along the trail and mud flats of the salt marsh, I almost stepped on several of them. I hiked the Cedar Point Tidelands at low tide which allowed viewing of oysters and blue crabs in the shallows and large white egrets in the grassy areas. Schools of small fish were teaming in the inlets with larger fish jumping in the open water. Very fun hike. I then went to Patsy Pond to walk the green, blue and part of the orange trails among the short oak trees and taller pines. This was not as exciting although I did see Bob’s sinkhole. I do not know who Bob is or why he has a sinkhole named after him.
