I should have gotten a higher clearance rental car, but I had a low riding car. I turned around on the forest service road on my way to the hike and hoofed it on the road the last ½ mile to the trailhead. The hike was beautiful with a creek on one side, mountains all around and huge aspen trees mixed with spruce and fir. There were several beaver dams and lodges, but I could not spot a beaver. Bloomington lake was wonderful until there was some sort of meet up happening on my way back. My peaceful trail was suddenly choked with a noisy mob.
