Typical BLM run site, the trails are hard to find as they are not marked well. It is worth the stops at Mule Canyon, House on Fire and Butler Wash. There are ruins at each location with several structures having been restored. House on Fire requires a hike up a sometimes dry/muddy creek bed. It was a nice change of scenery as near a water source there was more variety of plant life including oak, aspen, pine, madrona and serviceberry.
