The only bad thing about getting to the trailhead at dawn is clearing the cobwebs that always hit you right in the face. I hiked Holland Lake and to a viewpoint of Holland Falls. The low fog early in the morning gave the area an eerie feeling that was added to by a few silently swimming ducks. By the time I was heading back, the mists were lifting and I could see the other side of the lake and even some of the mountains in the distance.
