Animals galore! I saw elk, deer, a black bear and a bald eagle. I camped at Yaak river and got up early to be at the trailhead just before dawn, no people but snowberries were plentiful by the river. I hiked the short trail to Kootenai falls and the swinging bridge which sways from side to side as you walk on it. I was right next to busy railroad tracks when a train came rushing by and I could not help but think about the derailment in The Fugitive. The train kept going so I was safe.
