This monument is run by the Navajo, so it has a separate payment system and is not part of the national parks. It is kind of cheesy with a marker that notes where New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Colorado meet. There are numerous native vendors surrounding the monument and a short hiking trail to see the area. Ute mountain with the moon was just north of the park and Shiprock was to the east.
